Today is September 30, the day we celebrate the power and impact of podcasting in our lives. International Podcast Day is a day to recognise the podcast creators and leaders in the industry, as well as to discover new shows and genres that suit our interests and passions.
Did you know that International Podcast Day was created in 2014 by Steve Lee? He wanted to promote podcasting as an excellent entertainment and educational medium. Since then, every September 30th has been dedicated to celebrating the podcasting community and its achievements.
Podcasting has revolutionised the way we consume audio content, offering us a wide range of topics, formats, and styles to choose from. Whether you are into comedy, drama, news, education, or anything in between, there is a podcast for you. And if you can’t find one, you can always create your own!
