1. Spreading Humours Goes Live
Spreading Humours, a South African Podcast under the Podcast and Chill Network, has announced a special live show!
The Spreading Humours crew is heading to Pretoria for a day filled with fun and laughter.
The live show will be taking place on October 12th, 2024 at 012Central in Pretoria.

2. Mpoomy Ledwaba’s Going on a Book Tour
Mpoomy Ledwaba, host of the Wisdom and Wellness Podcast, has announced that her book will be released on October 4th and she is going on a book tour.
The book is titled ‘How Did We Get Here: A Girl’s Gude to Finding Yourself’ and pre-order for the book is now open.
Mpoomy will kickstart her book tour shortly after the release of her book, on October 10th in Johannesburg before heading to other cities.

3. Nominees for the Black Podcasting Awards Announced
The Black Podcasting Awards are back and the nominees for this year’s award ceremony have been announced.
Containing a wide variety of categories from Best New Podcast to Podcaster of The Year, the Black Podcast Awards have something for everybody.
Some of the nominated podcasts are:

4. Content is Queen hosts International Women’s Podcast Festival
Content is Queen has announced that they will be hosting the International Women’s Podcast Festival. The event aims to connect women with other like-minded women within the podcasting industry to share stories and celebrate their successes.
The festival will include a panel of speakers, workshops and classes that should equip you with the information to start and/or grow your podcast. There will also be live podcast shows, networking sessions and just a sense of community with the best women in podcasting.
The festival will be taking place on the 3rd and 4th of October and all the information you need with regards to it is available on festival.contentisqueen.org.
