  1. ITV bCreator™ Awards 2025 nominations now open

The ITV bCreator™ Awards 2025 celebrate the best creators, agencies and creator brand campaigns. Known as the ‘Oscars for Creators’, it’s the largest awards of its kind in the UK, and nominations are officially open! This year, creators can be nominated across three categories: Creator, Industry and Campaign. This is the perfect opportunity to nominate yourself or your favourite podcaster in a number of categories from Best Podcast to bCreator of The Year – view last year’s winners here, and get your votes in for this year’s nominees here!

  1. Africa Golden Awards 2025 nominees announced

The Africa Golden Awards 2025 honor top achievers driving Africa’s progress in entrepreneurship, innovation, arts, technology, humanitarian work, and beyond. This year’s Best African Podcast category boasts an impressive 15 nominees – you can read all about it in our latest post here!

  1. Loren LoRosa announces new daily podcast

News correspondent, producer, and actress, Loren LoRosa, has announced that she will be stepping into the world of podcasting. Her new daily podcast, The Latest with Loren LoRosa, will cover the biggest trending topics in entertainment, social media and celebrity news, and is set to launch on 31 March 2025 on iHeartMedia and Charlamagne Tha God’s Black Effect Podcast Network.

  1. 50th Annual Gracie Awards winners announced

The Gracie Awards recognize exemplary programming created by women, for women and about women – and this year’s 50th annual awards honoured a number of women in the world of podcasting. Categories celebrated podcasters across genres like entertainment, education, news and sports, as well as podcast hosts and writers who are sparking change through the power of storytelling – you can see all of this year’s winners here
